St. Peter Lutheran Church’s members will join with Christians around the world in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter morning, April 5 during the late worship service that begins at 11 a.m.
(Doss has traded service times with St. Paul Lutheran at Cave Creek since they always have a sunrise service on Easter morning.)
Holy Communion will be celebrated and the sanctuary will be adorned with dozens of Easter lilies that have been purchased in memory of or in honor of loved ones.
Everyone is reminded to take their Easter lily along after church that morning.
Everyone is also invited to bring flowers to decorate the Easter cross located on the front lawn of the church as it bursts forth in color to announce Christ’s Resurrection.
Sunday School will be held beforehand at 9:30 a.m., and an Easter Egg Hunt will take place after church.
